The Midnight Stitch
The air in the clubhouse smelled of stale beer, motor oil, and leather. Jax sat at the battered oak table, staring at the vest in front of him. It was finally done.
For three months, he had worked on this—a custom, hand-stitched piece that combined old-school mechanics with the dark aesthetic of their MC. It featured a winged skull clutching a smoking piston, surrounded by intricate silver thread. It was more than fabric; it was a badge of rebellion.
"Well?" asked Razor, leaning over his shoulder.
Jax ran his thumb over the stitching. The patch had cost him a fortune in custom work, not to mention the countless hours spent finding the right design. He looked up, a rare smile breaking his rugged face.
"What a fucking great bikerpatch," Jax whispered, letting out a long breath.
Razor slapped him on the back. "Looks lethal, brother. Perfect for the run to Sturgis."
Jax stood up and pulled on the kutte. It felt heavy—heavy with the respect of the club, the history of the open road, and the sheer attitude they lived by. He didn't care what the "others" thought. This patch was a message, and it was perfect.
He walked toward his chopper, ready to ride.
