Rule #2: Never hang your own bell – Probably originated from the Old Bike's Tale, the bell should be hung on your bike by the person who gave it to you. Rule #3: Never leave your bell behind – If you sell your motorcycle, never leave it on the bike for the new owner. If you don't give the bell with good will that is intentional, it won't have protective properties. Dit kan betekenen dat je in het verleden een mes hebt gekocht welke later alsnog verboden wordt door de Nederlandse wetgeving. Als dit gebeurt, dan kan je het mes inleveren op het politiebureau.Messen vallen onder de categorie wapens, ingedeeld in vier verschillende categorieën. In categorie II komen voornamelijk automatische vuurwapens en explosieven voor en categorie III voornamelijk andere vuurwapens en werpmessen. Voor de messen die niet in een categorie vallen gelden geen bepalingen. Dit geldt bijvoorbeeld voor de assisted opening messen, waarbij je zelf het lemmet een stukje naar buiten drukt en de veer het automatisch overneemt. Daarnaast geldt dat de Nederlandse wetgeving helemaal niets zegt over messen met lemmetvergrendeling, éénhandig te openen messen of messen die snel te openen zijn. Er zijn landen waar dat wel het geval is. Mag ik een mes op zak hebben? Een zakmes mag in de meeste gevallen wel, maar o.a. niet in de kroeg of in een voetbalstadion bent. Messen, zoals stiletto's, valmessen en vlindermessen zijn strikt verboden. Heeft u een valmes, vlindermes of stiletto op zak, dan heb je een probleem! Alle messen die niet onder categorie 1 of 4 vallen mag u bezitten, verhandelen en dragen, tenzij lokale verordeningen dat verbieden, bijvoorbeeld in uitgaansgebieden of voetbalstadions. Een schroevendraaier kan in het Openbaar Vervoer als een verboden wapen worden gezien. De Belgische wapenwet Messen worden in de Belgische wapenwet ondergebracht onder de ‘blanke wapens’. Alle blanke wapens vallen dan weer onder de ‘vrij verkrijgbare wapens’. Let wel, enkele types van messen vallen onder de verboden wapens. Blanke wapens zijn wapens die zijn ontworpen om te doden of te verwonden door middel van een direct contact met het slachtoffer. Als we binnen de blanke wapens naar de niet-verboden messen kijken, hebben we het over alle keukenmessen,zakmessen,vaste messen,dolken,zwaarden, bajonetten, enzovoort.De grootte en vorm van al deze messen speelt dus geen enkele rol. Let wel: Aangezien de blanke wapens onder de vrij verkrijgbare wapens vallen in de wetgeving, zouden sommigen dit kunnen misinterpreteren als zijnde vrij te gebruiken of te dragen wapens. Dit is niet het geval. U zal altijd moeten kunnen uitleggen waarom u een mes bij u draagt. De reden wordt, wanneer een ongeluk of misdrijf is ontstaan, door de rechter beoordeeld op geldigheid. De aanvaardbaarheid van die reden zal samenhangen met de geschiktheid van het wapen voor de activiteit die u op dat moment aan het beoefenen was en de verantwoordelijke wijze waarop die activiteit werd beoefend. Alle geleverde messen vallen onder de Nederlandse Wapen en Munitie Wet en zijn toegestaan in Nederland. De voorliefde voor motoren en auto's is niet genoeg om de memberpatch te verdienen. Er zijn sociale gedragsregels, en de belangrijkste zijn wel: ∙ Iedereen is gelijk geboren dus we onderscheiden niet op lichamelijke kenmerken ∙ Sociaal denken en zich sociaal gedragen zonder vooroordelen is een 'must'! ∙ Zowel mannen als vrouwen kunnen deelnemen. We streven naar minimaal 20% rijdende vrouwen in de lijst ∙ Religie is geen onderdeel van de club maar hooguit een gespreksonderwerp ∙ Wie de patch draagt moet minimaal 6 keer een social event met andere clubleden bezoeken ∙ De front-patch krijg je na actief deelnemen aan minstens 3 socials events (binnen 12 maanden) ∙ Er is (nog) geen backpatch - we willen als kleine club juist niet opvallen. We kennen elkaar toch? ∙ Je moet een motor (merk onbelangrijk) of Youngtimer/Klassieker rijden (uitzonderingen voor junior leden) ∙ meer ... Volledige gedragsregels zijn besloten, maar de regels hierboven zijn eigenlijk wel het belangrijkste. De eerste jaren (we zijn begonnen in de jaren 90) werd er ook gereden op zelfbouw fietsen en gepimpte beachcruisers zoals Basman's en Electra's. Echter dit is onvoldoende om nog deel te nemen want fietsen brengen je niet snel en ver genoeg. We zijn een Road Club, we bezoeken motor- en auto evenementen, maar vallen niet op doordat er (nog) geen backpatches gebruikt worden. De club telt momenteel minder leden dan vingers aan 1 hand... Backpatches komen als we minimaal een jaar lang 10 leden hebben. Cruisaders zijn geen 'kruisvaarders', geen moderne 'tempelier', maar een deel van het gedachtengoed wordt wel aangehangen. Alles wat bepaald wordt door religie wordt verworpen zonder dat we religie verwerpen. Het is iedereen vrij om 'goedgelovig' te zijn.
